How it works
What to expect, step by step
Inspect & document
We inspect every slope and photograph the damage, inside and out.
You file
You file the claim with your insurance company. Our step-by-step guide shows you how.
Adjuster visit
We can be on site when the adjuster inspects, so the damage we found is easy to see.
Scope & supplements
We compare the insurance estimate to the real scope and document anything that was missed.
Build & close out
We build the roof, then send the final invoice and photos so remaining funds can be released.

Questions
Common questions
Do I have to pay my deductible?
Yes. Texas law requires homeowners to pay their insurance deductible, and it's illegal for a contractor to waive, cover or rebate it. Your insurer may ask for proof that you paid.
Can you file the claim for me?
No. You file the claim with your insurance company. Texas law doesn't allow contractors to negotiate a claim for you, but we can document the damage, meet the adjuster and provide supporting photos.
How long do I have to file?
Check your policy. Many policies require you to report storm damage within a year of the storm, so it's best to file as soon as you can.
What if my claim is denied or comes in low?
Ask your insurer for a written explanation and a re-inspection, and share our documentation. You can also call the Texas Department of Insurance at 800-252-3439.
What is recoverable depreciation?
With replacement cost coverage, the first check is usually the roof's depreciated value minus your deductible. The held-back amount is paid after the work is done and the final invoice is submitted.
